Water covers almost 70% of our blue planet. In Nature, water is the only element which can
exist in three different states simultaneously: liquid, solid, and vapor. The structure of water,
two hydrogen molecules bonded with one oxygen molecule, allows the sharing of electrons between the molecules, and between the elements of the atmosphere and environment around it. H2O is the second most common molecule in the Universe (behind hydrogen). There are a hundred times as many water molecules in your body than the sum of all the other molecules in you put together. Your body is almost 70% water. Every bit of water that ever was on our planet is still on our planet. Earth can never run out of water because we live in a closed environmental system. The atmosphere holds all the water in a perpetual cycle of regeneration—just like magic!
