Long before humans began creating marks which could be read or understood by others, they used colors and shapes to put forth an emotion or feeling. Because the colors and shapes are intended to transmit meanings, they have a life of their own. Their creators gave them live, intending that the colors and shapes carry a message. The message was inspired by a sense that a boundary needed to be set. First that message had to be envisioned or imagined. Then the color or shape became a mark. Wearing marks changes us from who we are to who we magically intend to become.
