Most of us learned about chakras from diagrams such as this, indicating the locations of the energy centers trailing down the front of our bodies, on the same side as our faces.
But considering that our entire nervous system is built around our spinal column, such a front of body understanding is clearly a misconception. Actually, the energy centers are little vortices of spiraling energy, like tiny tornadoes, which anchor down into your endocrine glands (the ductless ones; those which simply squirt out hormones directly into your blood stream), and then pass through your body to exit along the front of the body.
So those folks who focus on the frontal faces of chakras see only the exits for each energy center. They don’t correlate the spine and nervous system as conductors of the energy that enters through these chakras. Thus they may not extrapolate the data that then extends to the environment. The energy of the environment is the focus of Feng Shui. The health and well-being of the body is mirrored in the personal space. Let us explore how a person’s chakras affect the Feng Shui.
